An overview why Advertisers should stock up on DOOR Tokens early on to ensure their cost per lead remains low.
One of the advantages of locking in DOOR Tokens early as an advertiser is keeping your cost per lead low. Since the cost per lead is price in DOOR, it only makes sense to buy as much DOOR as the advertiser needs when the price per DOOR is lowest
Here is a basic example:
If DOOR Token is priced $0.10 per Token. And the lead costs 100 Tokens. Then the USD price for the lead is $10.00.
If DOOR Token rises in price to $0.30 per Token. That same lead will cost closer to $30.
Even though the Cost Per Lead at $30 is still below what an advertiser would pay Google or Facebook - I think everyone can agree paying $10 per lead is preferred.
Stock up on Door
If you are an advertiser there are three reasons why it makes sense to stock up on DOOR in the beginning:
REASON 1: Cheaper Leads - As we just discussed, you maintain your price per lead since DOOR Token price will go up over time.
REASON 2: Door Price may Rise - Nobody can predict what price the DOOR Token will be from one day to another - but if the price goes up - your Door Wallet will increase in value. If your lucky and DOOR Token price doubles - you essentially can sell 50% and get your future leads for free.
REASON 3: Pay as you Go - When you deposit DOOR into your account, you only use it when you receive a lead. So essentially, your marketing budget is sitting in the account and providing more future value than if you kept it in your business checking account. You are pre-buying leads at a set price with the benefit of paying as you go. You are essentially locking in the price and securing lower priced leads for the future.
Being First in Line
Another reason why it’s important to stock up on DOOR is to ensure you always have enough in your wallet to license the next lead. As we all know the first person to contact the lead will most likely win the business.
If your account runs low, and a new lead comes in - the advertiser will miss out on getting the lead and may lose the deal.
Buying and Holding
And of course if you hoping the value of your DOOR tokens go up, by depositing more DOOR into your account and only spending it when you get leads - you are essentially supporting the value of DOOR by holding and using it as a utility.
It’s a win-win scenario. If you spend the DOOR you get a lead that brings in revenue, and if you don’t spend the DOOR (but hold it) - the value of your DOOR will most likely rise.
